Please read below for step-by-step instructions on how to scrape any website. Our step-by-step instructions uses the ASOS website as an example only. Feel free to try this out step-by-step, then apply your own criteria and fields to capture.
Go to the web page you want to begin scraping from.
For example:
You’ll now see a list of relevant products, which means you are ready to proceed to the next step.
Important: Before you proceed to the next step, make sure to install the extension. After you sign up for your free trial, the link and an access key will be emailed to you.
While still on the ASOS website:
For example: name, url, price, image url, available colors.
Now tap “Run Scrape“, and you are ready to proceed to the final step.
Note: 'Scrape Mode' and 'Advanced Settings' are generally best left at default, though they can be adjusted for specific sites or objectives.
The extension will now open each product in a new tab, scrape the details you’ve requested, and close the tab.
It’s important to let it run without interrupting it, even if it seems stuck. It will inform you once complete, or if there has been any problem.
Once complete:
The form has been successfully submitted.
