Please read below for step-by-step instructions on how to scrape Google Maps. Our step-by-step instructions uses searching for hotels as an example only. Feel free to try this out step-by-step, then apply your own search criteria and fields to capture.

    Search in Google Maps

    Search for the types of businesses or locations you want to scrape.

    For example:

    You’ll now see a list of relevant locations, which means you are ready to proceed to the next step.

    Important: Before you proceed to the next step, make sure to install the extension. After you sign up for your free trial, the link and an access key will be emailed to you.

    While still on the Google Maps page:

    • Open the extension,
    • Enter the details you wish to scrape.

    For example: name, address, phone number, website url.

    Now tap “Run Scrape“, and you are ready to proceed to the final step.

    The extension will now open each location in a new tab, scrape the details you’ve requested, and close the tab.
